National Volunteer Month continues! Last week, SECU volunteers partnered with Harford Family House, Inc. and painted an apartment to get it ready for a young man participating in their Ready by 21 program. In partnership with DDS, Harford Family House offers the Ready by 21 Program to young adults aging out of foster care and provides them with temporary housing and an assigned case manager to accompany them on their six-month journey toward independence and self-sufficiency. After painting, SECU volunteers created 50 "Kind Notes" the organization uses to spread kindness and positivity to residents each Friday by leaving them on their doors. Always so happy to volunteer for such an amazing organization. And the month is only just getting started! #lifeatsecu #volunteering

April is National Volunteer Month and National Financial Literacy Month, so you'll see us all around the state. Today, we kicked things off at Junior Achievement of Central Maryland!
