About 1.5 years ago, then-Lt Gen Guetlein directed Maj Sean Allen to stand up the SDA TAP Lab. We set a course to bring together small business, academics, and SDA operators together to tackle the problems facing space operators by developing tools they can use to deter and win conflicts in space.
Yesterday, we were proud to invite the now VCSO to see our progress on that task. The Apollo Accelerator has grown explosively, and so has the capability of our toolsets. We were able to demonstrate sensor orchestration, state estimation and improvement, target database enrichment, hostility analysis, launch detection, suspicious activity attribution, uncorrelated track resolution, response recommendation, and more. Each piece of these functions are automated and we are actively integrating them into a cohesive battle management system that we're calling Welder's Arc.
We showed Gen Guetlein the power of aligning objectives around a shared vision for space dominance, and he recognized our ability to bring parties together to quickly build useful capabilities in ways that much of the rest of DoD cannot. It was a truly great moment for the lab, and a great affirmation of our progress. We're excited to be building the future of the United States Space Force!
There have been hundreds, perhaps more than a thousand people who have helped the lab along the way, and a few who made this particular event a big success. Thank you!
