🔬 Exciting updates from the sCO2 European Conference! The SCO2OP-TES project was proudly represented by our project coordinator Università degli Studi di Genova, with Safeer Mehdi presenting a scientific paper titled: “Off-design analysis for a lab-scale thermally integrated pumped thermal energy storage system based on sCO2 cycles”. Co-authored by Syed Safeer Mehdi Shamsi, Stefano Barberis, Simone Maccarini, and Alberto Traverso, the work showcases the innovative advancements being made in sCO2-based energy storage solutions. Additionally, a project poster highlighting the "First Year of the SCO2OP-TES Project" was presented—an important milestone for our consortium. We were also pleased to see Rafael Guedez from our partner Energy at KTH presenting an overview of several KTH-led initiatives, including a mention of SCO2OP-TES and our sister projects SOLARSCO2OL Project, SHARP-sCO2 Project and FLUWS Project. 🔹 Highlights from the SCO2OP-TES General Assembly! 🔹 Yesterday, April 3rd, the SCO2OP-TES project consortium gathered at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology facilities in Stockholm for our General Assembly. It was a great opportunity to discuss project progress and key developments.
