SBH Health System is incredibly grateful for a generous and heartfelt donation from an SBH Family. The Lipstick Angels program at SBH Health System, is now funded for five years, thanks to their support. Cancer patients and their families receive more than just medical treatment, they receive compassionate caring; fully funded for the next five years.   Since February 2023, Lipstick Angels has provided cancer patients and caregivers at SBH with 💆♀️soothing facials, 🫧gentle massages, and ❤️personalized wellness services, offering moments of comfort, dignity, and self-care at the bedside, at home, and in infusion centers.   Last year alone, over 150 patients at SBH experienced the healing power of this program, designed to uplift spirits and support recovery during treatment. But that's not all, Lipstick Angels has provided care to approximately 750 patients and caregivers, continuing to heal patients one smile at a time, thanks to our sponsor Family.   SBH continues to strengthen the Bronx; a resilient community, ensuring the resources and essentials needed for better services and a healthier journey. #SBHBronx #LipstickAngels #CommunityImpact #SBHHealthSystem

Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Governor Kathy Hochul as she announced a $140 million investment for our Emergency Department. Servicing over 75,000 patients a year, our ED is a vital resource for the Bronx community. This funding will allow us to expand and enhance care, ensuring that everyone who walks in through our doors receives the best possible treatment.
