Excited to speak at the “Landscape First: Unearthing the Benefits of Nature-Based Solutions” symposium on Friday. Thanks to The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture for convening elected officials, institutional leaders, community stakeholders, and professionals in planning, design, engineering, and real estate development to envision what can be achieved when landscapes are prioritized in urban settings. I am eager to contribute nature-based ideas from a few Sasaki projects as part of the "Landscape as Investment and Infrastructure" panel, joining Aaron Abelson from HR&A Advisors and William Sullivan of the Smart, Healthy Communities Initiative at University of Illinois. https://lnkd.in/g2HPWabM
