Traditionally held on the first Saturday of the Spring Meet, this Grade 1 race for three-year-olds is a key prep race for the Kentucky Derby. In 2025, the 101st running of the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes has a purse of $1.25 million. Did you know that due to it's strategic location, Anchorage International Airport (ANC) is the third busiest cargo airport in the world? We'll be sending our precious cargo up to north next week to the Alaska Geosummit (organized by the Alaska Department Of Natural Resources' Alaska Geospatial Office). As a Gold Sponsor, our team will be highlighting our expanded geophysics offerings at this year's event, which is all about pushing the boundaries of what's possible through interoperability, innovation, and partnerships for success. Don't miss Kevin Killin P.Geo’s presentation on subsurface mapping, where he'll explore how airborne TDEM and triaxial mag/rad technologies are being used to unlock deeper understanding beneath the surface. You'll also have a chance to connect with Sanborn’s Jenna Leveille and Scott Faust during the event — be sure to stop by and say hello! Chris Ogier, CP elaborates on the USGS 3DEP / 3DHP Program: "the idea here is that we get more bang for our buck through group strategies, whereby joint funding strategies get more data." "We definitely push the envelope in terms of acquisition and processing of lidar data, we are a USGS GPSC prime so we're doing thousands and thousands of square miles per year. Last year I think we were on the order of 60,000 square miles of USGS-spec data." The FY25 3DNTM DCA funding deadline passed, but many can still apply. You can also prep yourself for FY26.
