Why is Medicaid important to Community Health Center patients? 👉🏽 Nearly half of CHC patients are insured by Medicaid. 👉🏽 CHCs provide cost-effective services that keep Medicaid patients healthy, prevent emergency department visits and hospitalizations, and reduce the need for costly specialty care. NACHC's resource details how CHCs provide comprehensive primary and preventive care at a lower cost than other primary care providers, saving Medicaid $1,400 per adult patient per year. #HealthCenters #ValueCHCs

☎️ We're asking for your advocacy to urge Congress to extend and increase annual funding for Community Health Centers in the next government funding package. Budget negotiations continue in Washington, D.C., with only nine days until annual discretionary funding expires for Community Health Centers. At this critical time, we must let Congress know how important health centers are to 32.5 million patients nationwide. Call or email Congress today!    📞 Funding Call-In Campaign: https://lnkd.in/enrg75Yz ✏️ Email Campaign: https://lnkd.in/eBa-9Zgk

  • 📢 RHS Advocates for Community Health Centers in Washington, D.C.! Last week, Don Branum (CEO), Gail Diggs (Director of Community Outreach), and Geneva Jackson (RHS Board Member) traveled to Washington, D.C., for the Policy & Issues Forum Hill Day 2025. They joined healthcare leaders from across the country to advocate for the vital role community health centers play in providing quality, affordable care. 🏛️ By meeting with policymakers, they helped ensure that funding and support for community health centers remain a top priority. Their dedication to our mission makes a real difference in the lives of the patients and communities we serve. 👏 We’re proud to have such strong advocates representing RHS and the communities we serve! #CommunityHealth #Advocacy #HillDay2025 #RHS
