At the 2025 Industry Conference presented by haku in Louisville, a main stage panel delivered outstanding insights on sustainability, no matter what size of running event you produce. Presented by HydraPak, LLC, this was a great conversation between moderator Tina Muir, CEO of Running for Real, and panelists Jennifer Krupey, vice president of marketing and ecommerce at Hydrapak; Matt Helbig, CEO of Big River Race Management, and Roger McClendon, executive director of the Green Sports Alliance. This Earth Day, we are excited to share the video of the panel's conversation with you! Enjoy! https://lnkd.in/gkSxSpcA

A shattered course record, a monster move in the Newton Hills by a bib-less little brother and a sunrise surprise from a Boston legend: the 129th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America will go down as a day of speed, siblings and sentiment. Sharon Lokedi of Kenya held off a late move by two-time defending champion Hellen Obiri to break the tape in 2:17:22, obliterating the course record of 2:19:59 set in 2014. Running USA member For All Mothers+ has launched a research project to quantify the motherhood penalty in sports—putting hard numbers behind the systemic challenges mothers face and push for deserved solutions. Their goal is to create a comprehensive whitepaper. They’d be so grateful if you could pass along this survey to any mothers in sport (athletes or coaches) in your network. Thank you for the consideration! Take the survey here: https://lnkd.in/gCJ5PkuN
