With lead times for concrete deliveries growing — and the cost of new trucks climbing — used volumetric mixer trucks offer contractors a timely and cost-effective way to take control of concrete production. 💬 Seth Bittick, VP of Operations, G Crete, LLC: “All mixers are great when they are new, but what matters is the support you get as they age.” 🌟 Key Benefits: ‣ Lower Cost, High Value: Used mixers deliver the same jobsite flexibility at up to 25% less than new models — with no Federal Excise Tax. ‣ On-Demand Control: Eliminate delivery delays and produce concrete anytime, anywhere — especially helpful as interest rates fall and projects accelerate. ‣ Minimal Learning Curve: With a little training, your existing crew can operate these systems using equipment you already own. 🔗 Read Fred Vincent's recent article exploring how used volumetric mixers help contractors scale faster and save more: [https://lnkd.in/gauUM3tc] #ConcreteProduction #VolumetricMixers #FleetManagement #ConstructionInnovation #UsedEquipment #ConcreteSolutions

As Executive Director of the Utah Department of Transportation, Carlos Braceras has helped guide the state through unprecedented growth with a people-first approach — focusing not only on delivering major infrastructure, but on building trust, communication, and a future-ready workforce. 🔹 Highlights: ‣ Under Braceras’ leadership, UDOT has redefined its mission to emphasize trust, transparency, and respect — seeing people, not just projects, as the agency’s greatest asset. ‣ Utah’s rapid population increase and limited developable land require complex planning. Major projects include the I-15 reconstruction and $2.1 billion in new freeway infrastructure for northwest Utah County. ‣ UDOT is tackling the workforce gap by engaging students early, boosting apprenticeships, and expanding internship programs across the state. 💬 Carlos Braceras: “Our currency is trust — trust with the public, with elected officials. You build that by doing things the right way, taking responsibility for mistakes, and continuing to treat people with respect.” 🔗 Read the full profile on Braceras' leadership and the future of Utah’s transportation system: [https://lnkd.in/gdMg5nX3] #UtahDOT #InfrastructureLeadership #TransportationPlanning #UDOT #CivilEngineering #PublicService #InfrastructureDevelopment #LeadershipInAction #PeopleFirst
