Last week, the Road Home Program had the privilege of connecting with incredible leaders and organizations dedicated to serving veterans, service members, and their families. 💬 Nicole Weis (Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at UCCS) & Joneila Henselman (McCord-Herbst Student Veteran Center) – We exchanged insights on our programs and explored opportunities to collaborate in supporting the Colorado Springs community. 💼 Kyle Milas & DEN4 Warriors at Amazon – We shared our mission with Amazon’s veteran and military family member employees, discussing future partnerships to enhance veteran support within the organization. 🎖️ 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) – We attended the 3rd Battalion redeployment All Call Event, engaging with soldiers and their families about available mental health and wellness resources. Big thanks to the Battalion leadership for prioritizing their unit’s well-being! We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and grateful for these partnerships in strengthening support for our nation’s heroes. Together, we make a difference! 💙💛 #RoadHomeProgram #VeteranSupport #MilitaryFamilies #MentalHealthMatters #StrongerTogether Joseph Z. Katia Newell
