Inspired by Monet’s Water Lilies and constructed entirely of unbacked carpet, primary backing, carpet yarn fibers, rubber sheet, and weld rods, our garment was a true masterpiece on the runway. We’re excited to announce that Sarah Clark, Project Designer, has been selected as one of only 21 mentees from across the U.S. and Canada for the AIA AAH Colleague 2 Colleague (C2C) Mentorship Program! 🌟 The C2C program is an online 10-month mentorship journey running from March to December, focused on guiding early-career design professionals with a passion for healthcare architecture, planning, and design. Through presentations, discussions, and networking, this program empowers participants with valuable insights into the healthcare design field, while fostering leadership and career development. We are proud to share a recent significant milestone, the completion of phase 4 of the 9-phase UPMC Mercy Surgical Services Project. Phase 4 provides a new and welcoming entry and reception space for the Surgical Department, creating an important amenity space for patients and their families. This project continues to be a team effort and we appreciate UPMC Mercy's Leadership and the Facilities team, our Design team of NBBJ Design, Karpinski Engineering, Barber & Hoffman, Inc., and NV5. Thank you to the efforts and craftsmanship of Mascaro Construction Company, LP., and all their subcontractors for making this beautiful space a reality.
