Revive Environmental and Battelle are proud to announce our selection for a DoD-funded demonstration project under the Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (SERDP & ESTCP), contracted through the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). This field deployment will showcase the capabilities of the PFAS Annihilator®, our patented Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) system, to destroy PFAS across a wide range of impacted media—including AFFF fire-fighting foams, contaminated groundwater, IX still bottoms and more. This demonstration is a significant step toward eliminating PFAS from dilute and concentrated sources—especially when paired with technologies that remove PFAS but cannot destroy it. Advancing AFFF Transition: Key Takeaways from the DFW Training Center Demo Last week, we had the privilege of joining BIO EX and NoFoam Systems at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Training Center in Dallas, TX, for a hands-on look at the future of aircraft firefighting foam. A huge thank you to Alex Barragan, Sales Director at BIO EX, for hosting this incredible event! Key Takeaways from the Event:  ✅ BIO EX’s MILSPEC-certified ECOPOLA3+MILSPEC fluorine-free foam (F3) demonstrated its effectiveness in meeting FAA requirements.  ✅ NoFoam Systems showcased their input- and output-based testing solutions, helping fire departments ensure their proportioning systems are properly calibrated during the F3 transition.  ✅ Valuable discussions with firefighters provided critical insights into the real-world challenges and successes of moving away from AFFF.  ✅ Firefighters are adapting to the new F3 formulation with a focus on technique, reinforcing that the transition is both necessary and achievable. What’s Next?  While transitioning to #F3 is a major step forward, proper #AFFFdisposal is just as important to eliminate #PFAS liability and environmental risks.
