“Hi, my name is Justin Andrews, and I grew up witnessing the power of reuse. My father worked in the pharmaceutical industry, where outdated lab equipment was often discarded—even though it was still perfectly usable. He would rescue what he could, and selling used equipment helped put my brother, sister, and me through college. He instilled in me the old-world values of conservation, making the most of what we have, and understanding the true value of a dollar. These lessons in sustainability would eventually inspire the creation of REUZEit—a company dedicated to reducing waste and promoting a circular economy.
I decided to turn my passion for making the world a better place into a business. I started by buying and refurbishing lab equipment, offering companies a sustainable alternative to discarding valuable resources. Over time, I realized that by promoting reuse, we could help businesses save money, reduce pollution, and significantly lower their environmental footprint.
Today, REUZEit is an international company, helping businesses around the globe embrace “reuze.”
Through our partnerships with industry leaders like ThermoFisher Scientific, Gilead, Moderna, Kite, and BioMarin, we’ve saved millions of dollars for our clients and prevented thousands of tons of equipment from ending up in landfills. By redistributing surplus equipment, we have demonstrated the true potential of sustainability and reinforced our mission to make sustainable practices the standard across industries worldwide.”
