About us
RepresentWomen advocates for rules & systems reforms to advance women’s representation and leadership in elected and appointed office in the United States. These institutional reforms -- used in the 78 nations that rank above the US in women’s representation and in a growing number of jurisdictions in the US -- will elect more women to office faster and are an essential component of collaborative efforts to win parity. RepresentWomen is a proud member of the ReflectUs Coalition, the Bridge Alliance, and the National Association for Nonpartisan Reformers.

Thank you to Han Pham of Her Term and mental health professional Judy Cantwell for facilitating yesterday's Lunch and Learn organized by our Women's Power Collaborative! On this day in 1977, a bipartisan group of Congresswomen came together to address spousal abuse, and the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues (CCWI) was born. Since then, the CCWI has grown alongside the rising number of women in Congress, working across the aisle and addressing issues that matter to women nationwide. RepresentWomen's research validates the power of women's caucuses to raise or change policies on issues that matter most to women, and demonstrates that they are a critical mechanism for building women's political power. #CCWI #WomenInCongress #BipartisanLeadership #OnThisDay #WomensHistory
