Go out and vote for the next US Hemp Building Association board! I will post the full videos of every endorsement in this video here on LinkedIn and on Renewal Revolutions FB and IG. Matt Marino, Homeland Hempcrete, Christopher Velasco, Brandon Kaysen, LEED AP Bio: I’m the CEO of Renewal Revolution a Green Building Construction social enterprise. We are general contractors and a regenerative building consultant. With many green builds under our belts several include hemp and the number of developments continues to rise as I drive hemp building into the local public spaces through collaborative efforts to ensure perfect practices for permitting with building and safety departments. I’ve served on the Central Coast Green Building Council for 6 years, I’m the USHBA’s Region 2 Leader and have been for 2 years now. I’m a member of my local women in business organizations and I have extensive experience with helping build organizations across the spectrum from for profits, to corporations with social responsibilities, to non-profits. I have impeccable team building skills and an uncanny ability to bring people and personalities together for one common goal. I work in education and workforce development and I know what needs to be done to get funding for such programs. As well as my years of personal relationships made through common ground with individuals in big government sectors looking to fund the right ideas. I’m committed to a fault and flexible in my approach to trail blazing. And I’m always looking for solutions to serve the bigger picture. A healthy built environment for our families and communities is a must. Why do I want join the USHBA board?: I’m already doing so much for this industry, I think it’s time to put my capacity for change onto a larger playing field. I think way more can be done and I have the time and experience to share with the board What can I contribute?: I can contribute 10-40 hours a month of my time. I can fund myself for the majority of any USHBA required events. I can keep myself from the propensity of any and all conflicts of interest because I understand the priorities and principles that are required of me to help govern a non-profit. I can share my contacts and help get things funded. I can fix what has not been working right for a very long time on the board. I’m really good at holding individuals and myself, accountable. I can help manage the supply chain and distribution needs in the nation. I can help get workforce development and education programs off the ground. I can be teachable, and I communicate succinctly. I’m an excellent source of advocacy.
