Mary Howard Health Center and PHMC Care Clinic, two of our Federally Qualified Health Centers, have joined to form PHMC Health Callowhill. This expanded FQHC provides patients with more primary care providers, increased behavioral health and podiatry services, and access to dental and pharmacy services in a state-of-the-art facility that is accessible to people with mobility disabilities. Staff at PHMC subsidiary the Center for Autism’s Social Competency program recently facilitated a mural project to support group work, socialization and self-expression for program participants. The Social Competency program serves children and adolescents with #AutismSpectrumDisorder, offering a variety of groups that address interpreting social cues, perspective taking, understanding emotions, self-esteem and working collaboratively with others.
