When Thomas Wagner learned his son Max had Alexander disease, a rare neurodegenerative disorder, he used AI to research the condition. Under the care of Dr. Amy Waldman in our Leukodystrophy Center, Thomas' efforts helped him to not only learn more about the disease but even allowed him to connect researchers to help accelerate discoveries. Building healthy eating habits in childhood helps improve health outcomes, but 30% of Philadelphia's children do not have consistent access to food. To bring fresh produce close to home, our Healthier Together initiative teams up with Bartram's Garden to set up garden beds filled with starter plants in families' yards. This partnership makes fresh food more convenient and supports healthy eating habits for families. Learn more: http://ms.spr.ly/6044qYByu.
