From mapping the landscape with GIS technology to protecting wildlife, the Forest Service is full of tech experts, wildlife biologists, and IT specialists who ensure our parks stay beautiful and thriving! 🌍 Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialists in the Forest Service are tech experts who use advanced software to create maps and analyze geospatial data! They help with planning, resource management, and public engagement by providing advice, training, and creating materials that support important decisions and projects. 💻 IT Specialists in the Forest Service keep all the tech running smoothly! From troubleshooting networks and computers to maintaining backups and updating files, they're the go-to experts making sure everything stays connected and secure. 🦉 Forest Service Wildlife Biologists play a crucial role in managing and protecting wildlife habitats! From building nesting islands for waterfowl to prescribed burns for deer and turkey, they work with teams and sophisticated tech to conserve biodiversity and protect endangered species. Plus, they collaborate with public groups and organizations to ensure healthy forests and wildlife!
