Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far! Our plans for the fund will include additional #deployments in our partner's on-site grounds where we'll test our latest version of the artificial root filtration device. Furthermore, PolyGone's team plans to continuously partake in #communityengagement programs through collaboration and cooperation with the local vicinities most affected by #microplasticpollution in waterways. We're excited to show everyone our plans and projects for the future!

Want to learn more about microplastic pollution and its effects on both the environment and human health? Visit our Microplastics Educational Pavilion at the Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) to explore hands-on, interactive exhibits. Learn about microplastics in everyday items like cosmetics and their impact on wildlife up close. On April 27, 2025, ACUA is hosting its Annual Earth Day Festival for families and students! PolyGone’s co-founders, Yidian Liu and Nathaniel Banks, are excited to be in California next week to attend the San Francisco #Climate Week from April 21 -24! During the week, PolyGone will be attending several events, including the #Ocean Tech Summit and the Investing in Water: Startup Showcase. As part of the Imagine H2O 2025 program, PolyGone will be showcased at the startup #showcase and will give a presentation. On April 3, 2025, PolyGone co-founder Yidian Liu spoke at the Building Energy Exchange’s first Women in Sustainability and Energy career showcase. The showcase brought together students and professionals to discuss different perspectives on #energy. Yidian spoke about her #industry experience and provided insights on her career. 

Last night, over 90 attendees joined us for our first Women in Sustainability and Energy (WISE) program of 2025! 🥰 The WISE Sustainable Career Showcase highlighted diverse perspectives within the energy and sustainability industries, featuring five inspiring leaders who shared unique insights into their respective sector of the industry, role in their company, and career path. 🎤 Following the presentations, attendees enjoyed an original, green building standup comedy act by our speaker Rosie Osser! 9 in 10... that's the estimate of humans exposed to microplastics, and it has adverse health and environmental effects. What's been done to address them? That's where Yidian Liu and PolyGone comes in. They are deploying a filtering system at water plants that binds to the microplastics that are floating on the water surface, and they have an incredibly high filtration rate and 90% cheaper than alternatives. On March 20, 2025, PolyGone co-founder Nathaniel Banks spoke at the Princeton University Student Ventures #Startup Showcase in New York. Princeton Student Ventures empowers the university's entrepreneurship community by offering grant awards, venture capital experience, and industry connections. PSV is also important to PolyGone, as we were the first startup to receive funding from PSV.
