Delivering Health & Hope to the World
About us
Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to address the staggering shortage of medical resources around the world. Since our humble beginnings in a garage in Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has become the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment and services to doctors and nurses serving the sick and dying in more than 130 countries. Each week Project C.U.R.E. delivers approximately three to five semitruck-sized ocean containers packed with the medical equipment and supplies desperately needed to save lives in hospitals and clinics in resource-limited countries. In addition, each year hundreds of healthcare professionals travel with Project C.U.R.E. to provide medical treatment to communities in need and training to those dedicated to serving them. Project C.U.R.E. is supported by over 25,000 volunteers annually and operates distribution warehouses in seven U.S. cities. In addition to our global work, Project C.U.R.E. pivoted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support the need for PPE and medical equipment in the U.S. Since March 2020, Project C.U.R.E. provided more than 15 semitruck loads of medical aid, which equates to 4.5+ million pieces and nearly $5 million of PPE for healthcare workers and first responders. Project C.U.R.E. continues on the frontline of the battle against the pandemic by providing millions of dollars of COVID-19 aid on a weekly basis.

A shipment of ICU beds sent by Project C.U.R.E. arrived at the Adventist Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan, recently! Sponsored by our corporate partner, Excelerate Energy, this delivery will help equip the Karachi Adventist Hospital, which was the venue for the first open heart surgery in the country. In partnership with the ADRA International (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) that oversees the hospital, Project C.U.R.E. and Excelerate Energy hope that the ICU beds will enable the hospital to better serve the people of Pakistan through quality healthcare now and into the future. Excelerate Energy has been operating in Pakistan since 2015 and its floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) at Port Qasim provides 15% of Pakistan's natural gas supply. Project C.U.R.E and Excelerate have partnered previously to support healthcare facilities in Bangladesh and Ukraine.

In the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA) of South Sudan, healthcare facilities often operate with limited resources, affecting patient care. To address this challenge, Aid Pioneers collaborated with Project C.U.R.E. and ForAfrika to help facilitate the delivery of over $349,000 worth of essential medical equipment to various hospitals in the region, including Pibor County Hospital. This initiative has significantly improved the hospital's capacity, particularly in the maternity ward, ensuring that mothers like Topista can recover safely after childbirth and that medical staff have the necessary tools to provide quality care. A small step forward for healthcare in Pibor County Hospital - and a reminder that meaningful impact often begins with simple tools. ___ Photos and stories by ForAfrika #PartnershipForImpact #MaternalHealth #HealthcareAccess #SouthSudan #SubSaharanAfrica #PublicHealth #GlobalHealth

This year marks a significant expansion of our humanitarian aid delivered from the U.S. to Ukraine. https://lnkd.in/eY8aP5eS As we prepare for our next shipments of medical cargo, we also want to celebrate our recent success stories. In our latest 2024 shipment, we delivered state-of-the-art ICU beds to two of the largest hospitals in the Dnipro region, including the regional oncology center in Kryvyi Rih. https://lnkd.in/ecJywunN 📦 The shipment was loaded in early September 2024 in Phoenix, AZ: https://lnkd.in/eKdp5jcq This critical cargo - made possible through our collaboration with Project C.U.R.E., dedicated partners in Ukraine, and the generous support of our donors - will strengthen the capacity of frontline hospitals to care for patients in need. As Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine continues, the need for life-saving medical aid remains urgent. We are actively preparing the next shipments and invite you to stand with the people of Ukraine. 💙💛 Join us in this life-saving mission: https://lnkd.in/e9ZPf5Hj 🎥 Video production: Pavlo Volyk #StandwithUkraine #SupportHospitalsinUkraine Vitaliy Dubil Pasha Fedorenko Sergii Sementsov Danielle Clark Douglas Jackson Laura Conti Steven Wagener Kristofer Anderson Janet Kalustian Thomason Ronald Jennings

The final day of Brownell Academy ended on an inspiring high note, celebrating our successful and impactful partnership with A&K Philanthropy! Supporting the vital work of Project C.U.R.E., we set a goal to raise $40,000 which will fill a shipping container full of life-saving medical supplies for communities in Uganda facing critical shortages. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity and unwavering commitment of our incredible Brownell family—advisors, partners, and team members alike—we didn't just meet our goal, we doubled it! We were able to fund a second container, which equates to a $1 MILLION impact in essential medical resources. We are deeply grateful to our amazing network of advisors and partners for their continual support, their passionate engagement, and their collective generosity. This powerful achievement, celebrated with our entire community at Brownell Academy, showcases the very heart of Brownell: purpose-driven travel and a heartfelt community that deeply cares for the destinations we travel to. #BrownellGivesBack #AKPhilanthropy #PurposefulTravel #ProjectCURE #BrownellAcademy

Had such a great time volunteering at Project C.U.R.E.’s Prom with a Purpose last week! We packed over 100 Kits for Kids and helped raise money to send medical supplies to communities around the world. It was a fun night with an even better purpose. Amazing to see the impact CU Pharmacy student organizations have had through the Kits for Kids drive. Grateful to have been part of both the campus drive and this event!
