Last week, PEWIN Paris brought together our members for a dynamic discussion on the evolving healthcare investment landscape, featuring expert insights from the investment, scientific, and entrepreneurial perspectives. Thank you to our thoughtful moderator Aline Ouaknine, who led the in-depth conversation with our panelists Sabine Dandiguian, Judith Charpentier and Emilie Mercadal. So much ground was covered including overall sector trends, scientific innovation, AI, European vs. US market distinctions, healthcare investment strategies, challenges and opportunities within women’s health, and expectations for the future. We are not surprised that the lively networking went late into the evening, especially given the hospitality from our host Dechert LLP (including Sabina Comis, Cyril Fiat, Pauline Enet, and Minh Aden), as well as the ongoing leadership and planning from our Paris Chapter leader Alona Ponomareva. We thank them for their support! We continue to be impressed with the energy of our ever-growing Paris chapter and look forward to our next gathering!

Last evening, the PEWIN Mid-Atlantic Chapter welcomed Liz Powell, Founder of G2G Consulting & Women's Health Advocates to share data, insights and a call to action around the state of healthcare for women in the United States. It was a critical discussion at a time when we are on the cusp of so many advancements that will make our populations healthier. We left inspired to get involved and support funding for research and policy initiatives that continue to promote progress for all. Thank you to Beth Rahn for hosting us in your Washington DC offices -- and for all those who joined us - including our women's healthcare investors - to engage and understand more about the importance of sharing our voices around these issues.
