Take a look at these kiddos from Inspire Me Learning Academy engaging with our March Play Kit in partnership with Dayton Children's Hospital. The play kit included tools to learn about counting and measuring, one of our Core 4 Readiness Skills. Kiddos are invited to bandage a buddy, use a real stethoscope, or pretend play like a doctor with a checkup checklist like a real doctor might use. Our Ready to Read Preschool teachers are putting in the work! 👏 They recently participated in training focused on intentional planning and child assessment, deepening their expertise in creating meaningful learning experiences. 🧡 Why is assessment so important? It's the foundation of great teaching! By assessing children's development, educators gain valuable insights that help tailor instruction to meet each child's unique needs. In this session, teachers explored the assessment cycle and how to use the assessment tools to enhance their curriculum, ensuring every lesson is purposeful and impactful. Our March Literacy Night was a huge success, thanks to our incredible families, partners and team! Over 35 parents and more than 50 children participated in hands-on, literacy-rich activities inspired by the book, Lola Plants a Garden.
