Established in 2017, PMOGA has grown into a vibrant and diverse network, being acquired by PMI in 2023. As a community under the umbrella of PMI, PMOGA unites professionals from various sectors who share a passion for all things related to PMOs. Our expansive community comprises PMO leaders, PMO team members, PMO executives, PMO consultants, Educators, and Project Managers.     🔥🔥PMI + GPM: Fantastic news for PMO professionals from the PMI Global Summit Europe in beautiful Barcelona!🔥🔥 This morning, on the main stage, Pierre Le Manh, PMI CEO, announced a groundbreaking joint venture between the Project Management Institute and GPM (Green Project Management®), the world’s leading authority on sustainability in project management. This joint venture is named PMI GPM. ❇️ Why Sustainability Matters in Projects At a time when the world faces unprecedented challenges, looking the other way doesn’t make global problems disappear. This powerful move extends PMI’s capabilities to help project professionals see beyond the triple constraint and recognize that true project success must include sustainability. Our profession may play a critical role in shaping a better future, and GPM will be instrumental in creating awareness, building capabilities, and spreading sustainable project management practices – now with a much broader reach through the PMI global community. ❇️ Unlocking New Value for PMOs I truly believe that PMOs will be essential drivers in embedding sustainable practices into projects within their organizations. Organized by Blueprintt, with the collaboration of the PMOGA Latin America Hub, the summit served as the premier strategic forum where high-impact leaders shared actionable insights and transformative practices. Participants engaged with dynamic keynotes, panels, and case studies, showcasing how PMOs are positioned as strategic engines for long-term impact across diverse sectors. The event united brilliant minds and a vibrant community of project and transformation leaders from across Latin America, driving real results in an era of accelerated change.
