Yesterday, Pivot Energy hosted Congressman LaHood (IL-16th) at one of our 5MW solar sites in Dunlap, IL, which will produce enough power to support over 1,000 homes. We discussed land stewardship practices on the site and met the sweetest baby lambs, from local Shepherd Tin Can Farms, who will keep the vegetation "mowed" across the site. This Earth Day, I am celebrating and fighting for the benefits a solar-powered grid can deliver. I am proud of my teammates who work diligently and with heart to build these community-centric projects.
