Update on the future #TallestBuildingInTexas! The real fun in the rebar at Waterline in Austin, Texas started with the brace columns seen here. These braces took months of collaboration between FABco, DPR Construction and the engineers at BROCKETTE/DAVIS/DRAKE, INC., and are as unique in their design as they are in their purpose. They will play a crucial role in holding the core wall and the rest of the building together. These specially milled and fabricated grade 100 bars begin on Level 39 and will reach their final place to serve their purpose on Level 43. FABco’s Central Texas Crews have worked day and night shifts along with our partners at DPR to complete this critical portion of the building where we transfer from office space to residential and second amenity levels.
