Last week, we hosted an energizing training session in Fresno as part of our Tobacco Cessation pilot with the UC Davis Center for Healthcare Policy and Research. Community Health Workers from across the Central Valley gathered to learn how to use the Pear Suite platform to support outreach and referrals to Kick It California. With powerful resources from CHaT Lab at the University of Chicago and insights from CHWs on the ground, we’re building a more connected, culturally responsive approach to #tobaccocessation. Special thanks to Binational of Central California for hosting us and to Calviva Health for helping us improve the lives of thousands of local residents. Together, we’re equipping #CHWs with the tools, data, and confidence to support tobacco cessation efforts across underserved communities.
