We celebrate and honor #BlackHistoryMonth in February! Despite being multi-marginalized, we especially celebrate Black leaders with disabilities who confronted racism and ableism to pave the way for all individuals to secure rights and have representation.

https://lnkd.in/e5Y_zNtJ On Give to the Max day today, we are raising funds to bolster the transportation options our clients have access to. This is essential for individuals with disabilities to access and be included in the community. Check out the following video shares the importance from the viewpoint of Dawn, one of the individuals we proudly support. Every contribution is doubled, up to $10,000!

Individuals with disabilities are twice as likely to experience inadequate transportation as those without disabilities. Without safe and reliable transportation, individuals with disabilities are left out of all that community life has to offer and are cut off from opportunities for social, economic, health and civic inclusion. Transportation equity matters! Thanks to a 1:1 match, your #GTMD24 gift means twice the impact for individuals with disabilities so everyone has opportunities to get there! #GTMD24
