👋🏼 Come by and say hello at our Booth PO6 at #SAS2025!
What a great kickoff for #SAS2025! ⚓️Super excited to talk about Navy families and their children with special needs at the Partners in PROMISE booth today. Even better to be located next to our amazing partner Naval Services FamilyLine! Thank you to the Mike Stevens, CEO of Navy League of the United States for coming by our booth and supporting the nonprofits who take care of our Navy and Marine Corps community! 👏🏼I appreciated the Commandant’s speech today during the luncheon. One line stuck with me regarding military readiness and retention. “Marines will vote with their feet.” That is why we can’t ignore the quality of life of our military service members and their families. 🤝 Want to join us in our mission? Come on by Booth PO6 near Potomac Hall 1-4 and let’s talk! Jessica Lerner Julie Simpson Jennifer Norris Tizrah Akin Junifer Thomas Caroline Donnelly Cherie Sargeant Julie S.

Today is Gold Star Spouses Day – a day to honor and remember the spouses of fallen service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice. These individuals carry the legacy of their loved ones with strength, love, and unwavering devotion. At Partners in PROMISE, we recognize the sacrifices Gold Star Spouses make and stand with them in support, remembrance, and gratitude. Today, and every day, we honor their resilience and the memory of their heroes. #GoldStarSpousesDay #HonorTheFallen #NeverForgotten

Recently, PiP team members Michelle Norman and Crystal DeVoss Mahany, MA, MPS attended the DoD Child Collaboratory Convening Event. Over 60 stakeholders participated in this event, all committed to advancing the well-being of military-connected youth with mental health, emotional, developmental, and behavioral (MEDB) needs. This event facilitated collaboration within working groups focused on research, training, and implementation to further identify barriers, explore solutions, and establish priorities for future initiatives. Thank you to the Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP) for organizing another fantastic event. We look forward to working with you and all of the organizations in the Collaboratory in supporting military-connected youth by continuing to refine frameworks, training opportunities, research strategies, and implementation efforts.
