The Page Society is the world’s premier membership organization for the chief communications officers (CCOs) of Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies, non-profit charities, public interest organizations and government agencies; the CEOs of public relations firms that advise major corporations; and educators who research and teach corporate communications at leading business and communications schools. The mission of Page is to strengthen the enterprise leadership role of the chief communications officer by embracing the highest professional standards; by advancing the way communications is understood, practiced and taught; and by providing a collegial and dynamic learning environment. Page adheres to principles derived from the lifetime work and writings of Arthur W. Page, who was vice president of public relations for AT&T from 1927 to 1946, serving on the company’s most senior management committee and its board of directors. Membership in the Society is by invitation only. Membership currently stands at more than 800. Over the next five years, we expect to continue to grow, with a strategic focus on becoming truly a global organization. Page is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional organization governed by a 36-member Board of Trustees that is elected to staggered three-year terms by the members of the Page Society. Exciting conversations on the future of communications at Page’s event in Darmstadt! Earlier this week, members of the Page Society’s community in Germany gathered at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany for a dynamic discussion on navigating volatility, multipolarity, and artificial intelligence—challenges that are reshaping the role of the Chief Communication Officer. It was inspiring to hear from our CEO, Rochelle L. Ford, Ph.D., APR, as she shared her vision for Page and how corporate character is more important than ever in guiding organizations through transformation. A special thank you to Siemens’ creativity expert Tobias Eismann, who reminded us why creativity remains a critical leadership skill in the AI era. Many thanks to our country chairs Axel Löber and Philip Müller and all the brilliant minds in the room who contributed to such a rich exchange of ideas.
