What a beautiful week it has been in Camp Jellystone - Franchisor of Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resorts in Zion Utah. Spring is here, and even though their is still a little snow in the mountains, the sun is out and guests are ready for waterpark fun. Today, Evan Barnett and I had the opportunity to testify to the Texas Senate Committee on State Affairs regarding senate Bill 1119 on Waterpark protection from nusance lawsuits. Thank you to Senator Bryan Hughes for championing this effort, as well as the many other incredible legislators that are in support of this, and many types of protection against nusance / frivolous lawsuits. For business in Texas to thrive, there must be a common sense approach to protection from weaponized legal action that is clearly not merited. Thank you to the Texas Travel Alliance for being a fierce advocate for protecting the tourism climate in Texas. Our P2:3 family is continuing to grow! I am so excited to Welcome and introduce a few new team members at Philippians 2:3 Consulting, LLC. TJ Packer is leading our Pecan Valley Utah project as Operations Manager. Davin Finn keeps everything running smoothly as the Maintenance Manager at Big Dam Waterpark in Texarkana, AR. Filling in the team at Pirates Bay and Calypso Cove in the City of Baytown, TX is Katelyn Pinkston - GSM, Jessica Langford - Aquatics Manager and Peter Wilkerson - F&B Manager. The energy and experience this team brings to the P2:3 family is electric. We are gearing up for an exciting 2025. A huge welcome to all of these great additions. 🎉

On the road again this week, enjoying time with our Philippians 2:3 Consulting, LLC client, Siouxland Splash in Sioux City Iowa. Construction is underway and the underground utilities are now in place. The parking lot is coming together as well as the additional turn lane from the highway. The initial delivery of the massive children’s area from Arihant will be arriving soon and we are working closely with our engineers and the Iowa health department to ensure all of the details are in line before going vertical. Fall is in the air in Iowa and the traffic congestion around the Waterpark site included a large flock of wild turkeys. I asked them why they were crossing the road, but I still don’t have an answer…. We are looking forward to bringing Siouxland Splash to life over the next several months.

It has been a fun and busy week, visiting our partners in Utah, and making new friends from Colorado with Waterpark Visions for their facility. Helping new partners bring their vision to life is such a pleasure for our team at Philippians 2:3 Consulting, LLC, and working with existing clients to fine tune operations and increase revenue is just as cool! Pecan Valley Utah is coming along nicely and a couple new rv resort partners are looking forward to joining us at the World Waterpark Association symposium and trade show at the Paris hotel in lasvegas. We installed and began team training on Connect&GO / Lightspeed Commerce at Pecan Valley, and had a great time training on the amazing Fullswing Simulator A huge thank you to Jessica Kusak for Making this trip so successful for everyone involved. I have just arrived in Las Vegas and look forward to welcoming our teams from Splash Kingdom Family Waterparks , Destination El Paso, Pirates Bay Waterpark, City of Baytown, TX , Big Dam Waterpark, Siouxland Splash, Zion Jellystone and others, as we hit some of the best waterpark sessions available over the next several days, and gear up for an amazing 2025 season. I hope to see many friends at the annual reunion party hosted at Cowabunga Canyon by Pyek Group. Don’t miss out on the fun! Safe travels everyone!

It’s almost here! The 2024 World Waterpark Association convention and trade show. I am looking forward to seeing all of my great industry friends for the week, at participating in amazing sessions, events and the reunion party at Cowabunga Vegas Waterpark hosted by the great folks at Pyek Group! Evan Barnett and his team are always up for a great time. I am also participating once again in the Design, Development and expansion workshop on Tuesday the 8th. If you are considering building or adding to your facility, this is a very informative day, filled with insight from designers, operators, engineers, feasibility experts and much more. A beautiful and busy day at the Albergue Olimpico Waterpark in Puerto Rico. As the Puerto Rican Olympics Paris 2024 athletes prepare to compete in Paris, families are enjoying this tropical setting and are ready to cheer on their competitors. One of the incredible points of pride at this facility is the Olympic museum, which tells of the rich history of Puerto Rico’s competitive spirit, while helping support the efforts of the athletes. Philippians 2:3 Consulting, LLC is honored to play a small part in the success of the Albergue Olimpico de Puerto Rico Waterpark facility. 🇵🇷

With temperatures over 120 degrees Fahrenheit this week, our Philippians 2:3 Consulting, LLC project in Hurricane, Utah was smokin’ hot. The lovely and fun, Pecan Valley resort is coming together nicely and will be an absolute blast for the active traveler! Cole Murray and I took a little time to enjoy a few of the amenities of the resort after great days with the Pecan Valley Team. River floating, Mt. Zion national park, side by side dessert racing, horseback riding and golf are just a few of the amenities that are available now, and will accompany the new Waterpark upon its completion. The team from Fullswing Simulator was on site completing their install Of our two amazing golf simulators (they are incredible)! Amazing things are happening in Utah. Can’t wait to wrap up the Waterpark construction and add that to the amazing list of activities offered at Pecan Valley.

Our Philippians 2:3 Consulting, LLC and Management family is continuing to grow! I would like to introduce two amazing folks that make me look a lot smarter that I am. Alexys Brown and Kyle Longo both work in our corporate office and help with the professional coordination of projects, as well as providing valuable data to help our facilities make great decisions. I am so blessed to have both of these great people on our team. Welcome Alexys and Kyle!
