Today, Evan Barnett and I had the opportunity to testify to the Texas Senate Committee on State Affairs regarding senate Bill 1119 on Waterpark protection from nusance lawsuits. Thank you to Senator Bryan Hughes for championing this effort, as well as the many other incredible legislators that are in support of this, and many types of protection against nusance / frivolous lawsuits. For business in Texas to thrive, there must be a common sense approach to protection from weaponized legal action that is clearly not merited.
