🥍🥇🏆Athlete of the Week: Sponsored by Colloca Estate Winery Meet Alaina DiBlasi, an Oswego girls lacrosse player. Alaina opened the varsity lacrosse season with two goals and assist against Homer this past weekend, and will complete her hockey career at the USA Hockey National Tournament this week with the Rome Grizzlies 19U club team. She has played four seasons of varsity lacrosse and soccer, and five seasons of varsity hockey. She has 155 goals and 55 assists in her varsity lacrosse career and could become the school’s all-time leader in points and goals before moving on to Division I Binghamton next year. 🏒🥅 Athlete of the Week: Sponsored by Colloca Estate Winery Meet Tanner Palmitesso, a senior for Oswego hockey. Tanner made 22 saves for the Oswego Minor Hockey Assocation 18U team in a 2-0 shutout over Finger Lakes in the NYSAHA Tier III state championship game this past weekend in Buffalo. The senior goalie went 4-0 for the state tournament, allowed just three goals and made 60 saves. He was also the goalie for the 16U team that won OMHA's first state title in 32 years last season. Tanner recently completed a four-year varsity hockey career and played six varsity golf seasons for the Buccaneers. Hear and read his story tomorrow. Congratulations, Tanner!
