In celebration of Greek-American Heritage month, Kathy Swedlund, OSI's Director of Corporate FSQA keeps the tradition alive with her family! Kathy’s parents emigrated from Greece and they keep the celebration going by celebrating Greek Independence Day. Greek-American Heritage Month is a great time to celebrate the rich culture and history of Greece. It’s heartwarming to hear that Kathy and her family continue to honor their roots. Traditions like these help keep cultural connections alive across generations!

Women’s History Month, an annual celebration in the United States that recognizes and celebrates the contributions of women all throughout the nation’s history. Today, HR got in on the celebration! Leadership welcomed our newest employees into the OSI family this week by ‘breaking bread’ — or rather sampling lots of delicious OSI products! These quarterly ‘Meat’ & Greet events are part of an innovative program HR launched to creatively usher in the most recent team members, offering some mingle moments and time to learn about the business. Thanks to the generosity of our corporate team members who donated to the Women’s Career Clothing Donation Drive, residents of the Lifespring Women’s Shelter in Aurora will benefit from the estimated 120+ pounds of clothing. Jennifer Raspaldo from FSQA, who led the event, said the ladies will now have something nice to wear as “they work on their re-building journey… a bit of springtime renewal and uplifting energy!”
