Anniversaries matter. In people’s personal lives and in their work lives. Here are 3 best practices for offering service awards your employees will love: ✨ Select items over cash (cash is easily forgotten and often gets used to pay for everyday expenses) ✨ Go for Luxury (give employees what they want, not what they need) ✨ Consider a wide variety of options (use an award catalog to offer an assortment of items to choose from) OSI Group's service award program goes above and beyond, including a beautiful presentation, letter of appreciation and option to select from a variety of awards. This is just one example of how OSI Group carries out their value to Put People First and to show that OSI Cares: “I can be seen, I can be heard, I can bring my whole self to work.” Thank you, OSI Group, for the many wonderful ways you engage and recognize employees!

    • Certificate of Recognition presented to Rebecca Alquiey in grateful appreciation for 10 years of dedicated service 2025

Grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Women's History Month with the OSI Group Network of OSI Women (NOW) in our lunch & learn this week. It was so much fun to share our key takeaways from the Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF) Conference held back in February and to hear from our Panelists Kerry Blomberg, Jenai Talbert and Christine Rado. You all did a fantastic job! Our theme was "Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations" with the following 5 questions: 1. Who is the most influential woman you know? How does she inspire you? 2. What strategies have helped you build confidence and foster personal growth in your professional life? 3. How have you proactively sought guidance and mentorship throughout your career? 4. How has empathy enhanced your impact as a coach or mentor? 5. What coaching experiences have been most transformative in your career journey? Please comment below and share your answers as well! I will share some of my answers in the comments too. I would love to hear from you! Special thanks to Courteney Fox & Julie Yeary Sylvester for pulling us all together for this initiative! Justin Patton, CSP your workshop on The Art and Science of Coaching with Head and Heart was a big influence on our panel questions and answers! Thank you!

  • In celebration of Greek-American Heritage month, Kathy Swedlund, OSI's Director of Corporate FSQA keeps the tradition alive with her family! Kathy’s parents emigrated from Greece and they keep the celebration going by celebrating Greek Independence Day. Greek-American Heritage Month is a great time to celebrate the rich culture and history of Greece. It’s heartwarming to hear that Kathy and her family continue to honor their roots. Traditions like these help keep cultural connections alive across generations!

  • Leadership welcomed our newest employees into the OSI family this week by ‘breaking bread’ — or rather sampling lots of delicious OSI products! These quarterly ‘Meat’ & Greet events are part of an innovative program HR launched to creatively usher in the most recent team members, offering some mingle moments and time to learn about the business. And we cannot forget about the bacon! #OSIPROUD

  • Thanks to the generosity of our corporate team members who donated to the Women’s Career Clothing Donation Drive, residents of the Lifespring Women’s Shelter in Aurora will benefit from the estimated 120+ pounds of clothing. Jennifer Raspaldo from FSQA, who led the event, said the ladies will now have something nice to wear as “they work on their re-building journey… a bit of springtime renewal and uplifting energy!”
