Next week, we’ll be celebrating with one of the most traditional and delicious desserts of the season: Torrijas! Torrijas are slices of bread soaked in milk, syrup, or wine, then dipped in egg, fried to golden perfection, and topped with honey, sugar, or cinnamon — a true Easter classic! Over 250 delegates from 45 countries attended the meeting listening to industry experts sharing their insights on essential topics for the poultry industry. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿 Our Sustainability team made a visit this week to Agroloop, a producer of black soldier fly larvae protein that could be used as feed for animals. The insect protein is produced using a circular model that makes use of by-products of the food industry as feed for the larvae. The produced insects then can be used as feed, replacing feed components with higher emissions. And finally, the compost excreted by the larvae can be used as fertilizer for farms producing either feed or related crops. The team was inspired by the tour of their production process and was happy to discuss possible collaborations. 

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺! At this year’s MARKANT Handelsforum, we had the exciting opportunity to present our diverse product portfolio to industry professionals! Visitors got to experience firsthand the quality and taste of our Angus Burger, the crispy Chicken Burger with Cornflakes Coating, and our famous Chicken Nuggets—all crafted to deliver top-tier flavor and texture. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, tasted our products, and shared valuable feedback. Looking forward to more inspiring exchanges!

𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲! Our European FS and B2B team came together for a dynamic workshop filled with fresh ideas, new strategies, and, of course, incredible food! Just like our products, our approach to sales is all about innovation, inspiration, and staying ahead of the game. Tasting, discussing, and strategizing—this workshop was all about finding new ways to bring our delicious products to even more tables. Because great food deserves a great sales strategy!

At our Plant in Spain, we marked Father’s Day with delicious cake, warm appreciation, and plenty of good vibes. It was a great opportunity to come together, share smiles, and recognize the hard work and dedication of all the amazing fathers in our team. A heartfelt thank you to all the dads who inspire us every day—both at work and at home! 👏
