    Partnerships at Notable

It was amazing to hear Franco Cardillo and Aaron Moscow speak at the #HFMA event in Charleston this morning! Dr. Patrick J Cawley kicked off the day sharing that two of patients biggest concerns are access to care and the cost of care. Franco and Aaron built on this theme, and dove into how we’re partnering together to align technology to improve the speed, scale, and accuracy within the patient experience. I’ve been partnering MUSC for a while now and seeing their transformation journey firsthand has been super cool to see! __

  • The EHR vs. AI debate isn't what you think. We see healthcare leaders ask, "Should we invest more in our EHR or look at AI solutions?" It's not either/or. It's about leveraging both strategically. Your EHR is your system of record. But it wasn't built to automate complex workflows or engage patients across multiple channels. Look what's happening with our partners who have leveraged AI alongside their EHR: One health system reallocated 5,000+ staff hours monthly. Another improved capacity equivalent to 100 FTEs. A third scheduled 1,800+ mammograms through automated outreach, finding 126 patients with abnormal results. The math is simple: Traditional models often require 10+ administrative staff members supporting one provider with 2,000 patients. Our customers can scale to 5,000 patients per provider with just four administrative staff. This isn't incremental improvement. This is transformational. With 2-4% margins and hundreds of unfilled positions, the question shouldn't be, "Can we afford this type of technology?" It's "How quickly can we implement it?" #HealthcareAI

Head of Engineering, Notable Health. We're hiring!

Show. Don't tell. Demystify. Don't obfuscate. HealthTech is filled with companies that almost never show their product publicly. I've always found it a bit odd. This seems to be even more true with AI, agents and the like. At Notable, we're going the other way. Great Example: we often get asked, "These LLMs just make stuff up. They hallucinate. How do you handle that?" We love this question. We don't need to redirect with responses like, "Look at how many billions of parameters our in-house trained models have!". "It's super safe, Just trust us!" 😏 Going the other way, means we don't _just_ show you how we do it, we teach *you* how to think about the problem as well. This week, Tom Alterman and I did just that. In our jam-packed webinar, we showed a crowd full of IT Health professionals how you can prevent, detect, and gracefully fall back when LLM hallucination happens. I had a blast. Looking forward to the next one!

  • We're nearly a quarter of the way through 2025. How's your AI strategy shaping up? If you're still figuring out where to focus your AI efforts, you're definitely not alone. As Dave Henriksen puts it, "AI is not a hammer looking for a nail. Organizations need to understand how AI can help solve their core problems." In a recent conversation, Dave Henriksen, Head of Value Based Care, and Dr. Aaron Neinstein, Chief Medical Officer at Notable, shared practical advice from their work implementing AI across leading health systems. Here are their seven key tips: 1. Define your north star. Are you focused on increasing output, improving quality, or reducing labor hours? 2. Start with business objectives. One health system's no-show algorithm led to overbooking without better outcomes because they started with the tech, not the problem. 3. Build on existing frameworks. You don't need new governance from scratch, just AI-specific additions. 4. Bring staff members into the process. The best ideas often come from frontline teams. 5. Secure early wins. Nothing convinces skeptics like hearing, "This literally saved half my day" from colleagues. 6. Address workforce evolution openly. Focus on how AI enhances, rather than replaces, human work. 7. Choose platform partners thoughtfully. You're building a relationship, not just buying a product. "All the planning in the world can't replace the experience of doing," adds Dr. Aaron, as one last freebie. "The organizations making the most progress are those that started small, learned fast, and scaled what works." Dive deeper into these tips here: https://lnkd.in/dPvJYuyW
