When the Fram2 SpaceX crew landed, Medical University of South Carolina neuroscientist Dr. Mark Rosenberg was there to collect post-flight brain scans — the latest step in a unique research partnership between MUSC, SpaceX and Oura. His team is studying how spaceflight impacts the brain, sleep architecture and stress levels — all in just five days. The goal? To translate findings from space medicine into smarter solutions for human health here on Earth. MUSC is proud to be part of the new frontier in aerospace neurology. https://musc.co/4i5S6jF #ChangingWhatsPossible #MUSCInSpace #MUSCResearch

Congrats to Isabella Popofsky, our December BEE Award winner! 🐝 Isabella, a Patient Care Technician, went above and beyond to support her team during a tough shift. A coworker shared, "Isabella was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. She made me feel welcome, kept in close communication, and helped me get through one of my hardest shifts. I wouldn’t have survived without her!" The BEE Award recognizes outstanding support staff who make a difference in the lives of patients and their coworkers. Congratulations to Teresa Shuler, MUSC Health-Orangeburg's Care Team Member of the Month! Teresa's compassion and dedication went far beyond expectations when she helped a frequent patient in need. After realizing a home health provider wasn’t sending his necessary tracheostomy supplies, she took the time to investigate, advocate, and ensure he received the care he needed. She didn’t stop there—she also worked to secure financial assistance so he wouldn’t face the same issue again. Though we sadly lost this patient, we know his last experiences were with a team that truly fought for him. Thank you, Teresa, for embodying the very best of MUSC Health. 💙 #CompassionInAction #MUSCOrangeburg
