With a rich history built on integrity, North Coast is staying true to their ethos in driving greater sustainability in both their sourcing and operations. Making the switch away from EPS has enabled North Coast to promote their brand further in the market, ensuring significant improvements to their freight efficiencies and reducing their impact on the environment. We had an incredible time at Lowell Freshman Academy (part of Lowell Public Schools), where Chef Andrew wowed the cafeteria with his signature Kelp demo 🌿 Students, faculty, and staff got to learn, ask questions, and of course TASTE this magically ✨ sustainable sea vegetable! Huge shoutout to Lowell Public Schools for their enthusiasm and commitment to bringing local, innovative, and nutritious options to their students. Fresh, forward-thinking teams like theirs are what keep this program going. Of course, no taste test is complete without the perfect sauce – special thanks to Craic Sauce for bringing some delicious pairings! . . . #plantbased #kelp #seaweed #sustainablefood #plantbasedprotein #schoolmeals #nutrition Eva Gertz Brian Ruhlmann Kayla Laddin Rochelle Li

The density of salmon farm stocking is strangely a controversial topic. But when you go speak to the experts, it's often dismissed due to it's highly regulated nature. Well, we thought it might be useful to dive at the somewhat dry subject of maximum tonnage biomass and stocking density in a way that might be more captivating to a broader audience. A number of analogies could be drawn to describe large volumes, but we went with Boeing 737 Max's just for the fun of it. James put this footage together from his visit to Mowi Scotland's Cheese Bay farm site in North Uist.
