Looking forward to joining House Majority Whip Tom Emmer tomorrow for an "Invest in America" roundtable with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and manufacturing leaders from across the country to discuss the urgent need to preserve the pro-growth 2017 tax reforms. Passage of the original law ignited job creation, wage growth and investment across the country. And as a result, manufacturers kept our promises by expanding operations, boosting wages and benefits and hiring at record levels. According to data released by National Association of Manufacturers - NAM, allowing pro-manufacturing provisions of the Trump Tax Cuts to expire would cost America 6 million jobs, $540 billion in lost wages and $1.1 trillion in lost GDP. It is past time to make these reforms permanent and more competitive. When #ManufacturingWins, America wins. https://lnkd.in/eTh6akAf

Joined CNBC this morning to discuss the administration's upcoming tariff announcement, manufacturing investment in the U.S., the National Association of Manufacturers - NAM's latest Manufacturers' Outlook Survey and the urgent need for Congress to make the 2017 tax reforms permanent. According to the NAM's Q1 survey, trade uncertainties are a top concern for manufacturers, cited by 76% of respondents, jumping 40 percentage points from the last six months. The President came into office focused on strengthening manufacturing in America and lowering costs. By implementing a comprehensive manufacturing strategy that provides greater certainty, the administration can achieve these critical goals.
