“We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community.” -Cesar Chavez This week, NAHREP staff came together in a powerful show of unity and purpose, contributing over 100 collective volunteer hours to causes that uplift, nourish, and bring hope to our communities. Inspired by Cesar Chavez’s legacy of compassion and service and in honor of NAHREP’s late co-founder, Ernie Reyes, our team proudly volunteered their time across a range of nonprofits that reflect the ninth tenet of the NAHREP 10 disciplines, “Be generous with people who are less fortunate because philanthropy feeds your heart and spirit and gives more purpose to your work.” Together, the NAHREP team proved that service isn’t just an act; it’s a calling.
