  • The Martha’s Vineyard Hospital Emergency Department recently partnered with the Brigham and Women's Hospital’s Neil and Elise Wallace STRATUS Center for Medical Simulation to host a Pediatric Emergencies Education Day. “Pediatric emergencies are rare but require rapid and precise action. These simulations help providers build confidence and proficiency in managing conditions such as respiratory distress, sepsis, and trauma cases,” says Karen Casper, MD, director of Emergency Medicine. By bringing STRATUS’s simulation training on-site, our teams were able to practice with their own equipment, collaborate across departments and enhance emergency response strategies.
