🌊 New real-time flood monitoring installed in Tecuci! As part of the MULTICARE EU project, a modern hydrometric station with radar sensing has been installed to monitor the Tecucel River. This state-of-the-art sensor will play a crucial role in validating flood warnings generated by the project’s Flood Early Warning System, developed for the Tecuci urban-scale demonstrator. 📍 Accurate, real-time data = faster, more reliable alerts = safer communities. 📍 The 3rd MULTICARE EU project General Assembly took place in Berlin on 3-4 April 2025, bringing together 40+ partners from across Europe. Over two days, the consortium reviewed progress across work packages, shared updates from all demonstrator sites (Acerra, Amsterdam, Bucharest), and aligned on key next steps for data collection, piloting, and impact assessment. The project is driving forward the development of a climate-resilient building stock across various scales: urban development, buildings and building envelopes. With our expertise in the field of façades, we are part of the project and look forward to welcoming the 45 research partners from 21 European companies to Berlin. This week, representatives of the 30 projects funded as part of a #Built4People Co-programmed Public-Private Partnership gathered at CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency in Belgium, for a special clustering event organised by #NebulaB4P. The funding for these projects sits under the “Efficient, sustainable and inclusive energy use” part of the Horizon Europe Work Programmes for Climate, Energy and Mobility.  At the event, welcome and introductions were given by Matthias Langemeyer, CINEA, and Mathieu Daloze, @DG DG ENER, followed by an overview of Built4People Partnership and Innovation Clusters (B4PICs) led by ECTP - European Construction and sustainable built environment Technology Platform and World Green Building Council.
