Founded in 1886 as the first hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Mount Auburn Hospital is a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School dedicated to delivering healthcare services in a personable, convenient and compassionate manner. Its mission is to improve the health of the residents of Cambridge and the surrounding communities. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is a member of the American Hospital Association, the Council on Teaching Hospitals, and the Association of American Medical Colleges.

  • On Monday, April 21, Team BILH’s 81 marathoners—including those representing Mount Auburn Hospital—will run the 129th Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America, raising critical funds for organizations across our system. Team BILH will have a cheering station in front of BILH Primary Care – Wellesley Family Medicine located at 372 Washington Street in Wellesley, MA. Inspired by the remarkable strength and determination of his patients, Nick is running to honor the individuals and families he serves every day. Running has been a vital outlet for Nick’s mental health and a source of routine, structure, and connection during his time as a college student in Boston. Participating in the marathon will enable him to combine his love of running and his passion for Mount Auburn’s work. As someone who has struggled with asthma, Marissa has relied on the exceptional care of Mount Auburn doctors to stabilize her condition and enable her to pursue an active lifestyle. Additionally, Mount Auburn provided compassionate and skilled care during an invasive surgery in her youth, easing the stress for Marissa and her family.   • We’re thrilled to share that Team BILH will run the 129th Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America on Monday, April 21! This will be BILH’s 5th year running the marathon as a system. Team BILH’s 81 runners represent member organizations across BILH—including Mount Auburn Hospital—and are raising critical funds to support our work. Last year, the team collectively raised upwards of $796,000, and our runners are working hard to exceed that amount for 2025.
