TEBI: Tribal Economy Business Incubator. 💡 The development of incubator spaces in Hinckley and Onamia is an essential layer within our Tribal Economy Business Incubator Program — and their purpose echoes our commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses. These incubators will provide retail and office space, creating an environment for business growth and contributing to the long-term economic health of the Mille Lacs Tribal Economy. 📈

Each step forward with the Ventura Project is a step toward a stronger South Minneapolis community! Aanjibimaadizing means “Changing Lives” in Ojibwe — precisely the impact MLCV hopes to have with the Ventura Project. This development will provide affordable housing and a new home to the Mille Lacs Band Urban Office, including the Aanjibimaadizing program, which supports Band Members through education, training, and work experiences. Last week, the project hit a significant milestone with a Topping-Off Ceremony, marking the completion of the building’s roof and celebrating those who helped make it happen, including MLCV Associates, Circle Sage Property Management, DSGW Architecture, PCL Construction, and the Wenaha Group. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. taught us that civil rights aren’t a thing of the past — they’re a movement that lives on in how we think, act, and grow as a community. His dream is about advocating for all to be able to be their authentic selves freely, aspire boldly, and live out their purpose. This week, our Associates could pick from diverse pins showcasing what they care about or phrases representing who they are. On December 29, MLCV leaders and participants of our Summer Internship Program came together for an evening with the Minnesota Timberwolves! 🏀 It was a celebration of their hard work and the perfect opportunity to network and strengthen the meaningful relationships they had built last summer. Thank you to our People & Culture team for organizing this event and showing the value of nurturing connections that last well beyond the internship experience.💙
