Our Lake Elmo team contributed to combating hunger by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children. Their time slot packed 96 boxes, translating to 20,736 life-saving meals. Together, we brought to life a vibrant, inclusive environment tailored to meet the needs of students with various disabilities, helping them learn, grow, and succeed. 🏫 A Purpose-Driven Campus: From the playful learning stairs in the entry commons to the thoughtfully designed physical therapy room, every detail of Spero Academy was crafted with care. Natural light floods the building, creating welcoming spaces, while bold yet calming colors balance stimulation and tranquility. 🎯 Safety and Accessibility First: Student safety was at the forefront of this design. With passive and active strategies, specialized materials, and storm-resistant features like the gymnasium-storm shelter, this campus ensures peace of mind for students, staff, and families alike. 💡 Designed by Listening: Collaboration was key. Our team toured Spero’s first campus, held in-depth meetings with educators and staff, and worked closely with specialized consultants to ensure every space—from the teacher’s lounge and outdoor deck to the enclosed running track—meets the needs of its users. 👏 A School That Inspires: This campus is more than a school; it’s a place where students can grow, play, and thrive.
