Big round of applause to Kiley Feickert, Sandy Curth, Eduardo Gascón Alvarez, and the entire Forma team for this achievement and recognition. Forma is an exceptional team of architects, engineers, and scientists dedicated to advancing more efficient designs and materials for #sustainable, high-quality, low-carbon #building systems. Forma argued that as much as 70% of #construction material in conventional floors, foundations, and walls is structurally unnecessary - leading to excessive costs and contributing to #climate change. Forma presented an initial target market of #concrete floor systems. Forma now gears up for the CEP finals and $100k grand prize. Seven early-stage #venture finalists competed for cash awards from over 100 #startup applicants, each with a student or recent graduate co-founder. 🏆 First-Place Winner: Spheric Bio, led by Co-Founder Connor Verheyen PhD’23 and Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) postdoc, won First-Place.
