Solana Web3.js Backdoored | 📅 Report via BleepingComputer: //https://lnkd.in/gRuMzrwp A supply chain attack targeted the Solana JavaScript SDK, injecting malicious code into versions 1.95.6 and 1.95.7. These versions, downloaded 350k+ times weekly on npm, were used to steal private keys and drain wallets. Key details: Malicious code added an addToQueue function to steal secret keys. Attackers drained cryptocurrency and NFTs by loading stolen keys into their wallets. Solana confirmed a compromised publish-access account enabled the attack. 674.86 Solana and other tokens traced to an attacker’s wallet. For anyone whose wallets were compromised in this supply chain attack, you should immediately transfer any remaining funds to a new wallet and discontinue the use of the old one as the private keys are now compromised.
