About us
Million Meal Movement has a two-fold mission: feeding the hungry and teaching the importance of volunteerism. We feed the hungry in our community by delivering meals to food banks and food pantries throughout Indiana. We unite our community by empowering volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to make a difference through hands-on, high-energy meal packing events. Million Meal Movement’s vision is an Indiana where its residents can hunger for something greater than their next meal.

March was an incredible month filled with impactful events and amazing community partners! With the help of 1,700+ volunteers and 14 Meal Packs, we successfully assembled 257,560 meals for Hoosiers in need. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this month so meaningful. I love creating volunteer opportunities for my Lids Teammates and supporting great organizations like Million Meal Movement and HVAF of Indiana, Inc.
Last week Lids hosted their Annual DSM Conference and as always the Lids Foundation created a volunteer opportunity for all 200 attendees. We partnered with Million Meal Movement to set up a meal packing event where our Lids Teammates packed 30,000 meals!!! Along with packing meals we also packed 100 emergency backpacks for HVAF of Indiana, Inc. to distribute to homeless veterans in Indianapolis. Our Teammates across the nation have a true passion for giving back and it was an honor to serve alongside of them. #lidsgives #roundup

Last week, Indiana Farmers Insurance joined us to pack over 36,000 meals for Hoosiers experiencing food insecurity. Thank you to Indiana Farmers Insurance and their nearly 200 volunteers who joined our fight against hunger!

Lucky to have partners like The Lids Foundation ! 🍀🧢 This St. Patrick’s Day, we had the opportunity to pack meals with the team at Lids! Together, they packed almost 30,000 meals that will be going to Second Harvest Food Bank to help Hoosiers in need. Thank you Lids for your continued commitment to our shared fight against hunger.

Racing to End Hunger 🏎️🏁 Thank you to Penske Automotive Group for joining us in our fight against hunger on Wednesday! Together, their team was able to pack over 18,000 meals at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that are now going out into our community!
