Earlier this year, Jaime Martinez attended his first Indiana Society of Professional Surveyors (ISPS) conference. With a strong foundation from his Associate’s in Architecture and Construction Technology from Henry Ford College and currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Surveying, Engineering, and Technology, he feels the conference was a valuable stepping stone in his professional development. Between sessions focused on the art of retracement, critical thinking throughout projects, and more, Jaime feels the sessions have already impacted his work as a Project Surveyor I. He was particularly inspired by Gary Kent, who led two of the sessions Jaime attended. The three-day event motivated Jaime to continue advancing his career and renewed his desire to pursue further education after his Bachelor’s degree. The opportunity to connect with fellow surveyors who were passionate about their work and dedicated to furthering themselves was truly inspiring. At MCA, we’re proud to support Jaime as he continues to grow and advance in his journey as a land surveyor.
