We’re proud to share that Rockford has been recognized as one of the largest construction companies in West Michigan. This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the continued trust of our clients, the collaboration of our partners and the hard work of our incredible team. We remain committed to building stronger communities for West Michigan and beyond, and our size allows us to take on a range of projects, invest in local talent, support local trade partners and make a greater impact — both on the jobsite and in the neighborhoods we serve.

Students from West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology (WMCAT) joined us yesterday for an engaging session on careers in construction. They had the opportunity to hear from several Rockford team members about the diverse career paths in the industry and toured the First Cut mill shop. Their questions made for a great discussion, and we hope we inspired them to consider a future in construction. Thank you for spending the afternoon with us!

Last week, our Rockford Veterans group proudly kicked off a meaningful new tradition in our office. We had the honor of recognizing and celebrating the son of one of our team members (and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran) who has made the commitment to serve in the U.S. Navy. As a token of our appreciation, our veterans group presented him with a challenge coin, offering our gratitude, well wishes and support as he embarks on this noble journey. We are deeply grateful for his dedication to serving our country and wish him success in the path ahead.

Every March 21, #WorldDownSyndromeDay is observed to help encourage support and celebration of those with Down syndrome. We rocked our brightly colored, mismatched socks to show solidarity with individuals with Down syndrome, promoting inclusion, understanding and advocacy. Let's continue to foster a world where we Build Strength Through Diversity. #LotsOfSocks

To be completed over several weeks, the restaurant and event venue has been collaborating with an expert team from Italy on the design of the courts as well as providing guidance throughout the construction process, ensuring an authentic playing experience. The courts are expected to open by April 7, bringing a dynamic new attraction to the city. Read more about this progress at the link below.

Have you spotted our job trailer on 28th Street? Our team is hard at work clearing the way for a brand-new Meijer gas station and convenience store. This 5,600 sq. ft. facility will offer seven fuel pumps, four electric vehicle charging stations, 22 parking spaces, a variety of food and beverage options, seating and retail — bringing even more ease to your commute.

The Rockford team braved the (not-so) polar plunge yesterday in support of Special Olympics Michigan. Donning our hard hats, hi-vis and swimsuits, we joined SOMI at the Unified Sports & Inclusion Center to take the leap and raise funds for athletes to train and compete year-round. A big thank you to everyone who supported our team and helped us make a difference in the lives of these amazing athletes!
