Some of the best conversations I have at the Property & Liability Resource Bureau Claims Conference are the organic ones. Yesterday I was sat down planning out my day in the expo hall foyer and got chatting to Donald Rondy and Alex Mavrelis, CIH, CSP, CHMM, CIEC, NRPP of TRC Companies, Inc. TRC is a leading, global consulting, engineering and construction management firm that provides environmentally focused and digitally powered solutions. I appreciated learning more about their pivitol roles within the Building Science division, how to effectively carry out mould investigations and in general discussing the cultural differences and similarities of the US and UK. Donald also said I need to try out a White Castle burger before I leave town so it’s been added to the list! #plrb #buildingscience

First day of the Expo at Property & Liability Resource Bureau claims conference representing Metric under our Metric Geo brand. The welcome drinks last night provided a great opportunity to connect with familiar faces and also new ones. I enjoyed my conversation with Heather Blevins CPCU, ITP, M. Ed. and was grateful for her insights on where the insurance industry is heading. Thanks also to the YA Engineering Services team for their hospitality at Tom's Watch Bar.

Nice to catch up with Kyle Paulson and Kristina McQuirns at the Industrial Loss Consultants Inc booth at Property & Liability Resource Bureau Expo earlier today. For more than 30 years their machinery and equipment consultants have been providing time-saving, creative solutions that help businesses resume operations as quickly as possible. Thanks to Kyle for giving me further details on their comprehensive service lines and Kristina for outlining focus areas for growth in 2025.

Mike Rose, PE who is a senior member of their forensic engineering team and a presenter at this year’s conference.
